Data, attribution & reporting

Understand where each number comes from, what it measures, and why it may differ from another system. Form Champions reports operational data; it is not your accounting ledger.

The source behind each number

Form submissions are completed requests saved by Form Champions. They are submission records, not necessarily unique people, qualified leads, appointments, or sales. Repeat submissions may count separately.

When a contractor connects Facebook, ad spend, impressions, link clicks, campaign names, ad IDs, and available creative video IDs come from that contractor’s authorized ad account. A link click is not proof that the page loaded or that a person completed a form.

When a contractor connects Housecall Pro, linked jobs and their booked values come from exact lead-to-job references, including jobs linked through the original estimate. Unrelated jobs belonging to the same customer are not automatically attributed to a form.

Why results can differ from Ads Manager

This report uses ad and campaign identifiers included in the submitted form URL. It does not reproduce Meta’s modeled, view-through, cross-device, or account-selected attribution windows. A person who sees a video but later visits directly may not be connected to that ad here.

Missing or edited URL parameters, shared links, redirects, browser privacy tools, cross-device visits, and unresolved ad-template placeholders can cause incomplete or incorrect source attribution. URL tags can be changed by a visitor; they are not verified proof of an ad click. Missing or unmatched sources stay separate instead of being assigned to an ad by guesswork.

Dynamic creative may contain several video assets. Its spend and results remain at ad level; Form Champions does not allocate the same ad’s entire spend to each video or claim to know which asset caused a sale.

Revenue, cost per lead & return

Booked job revenue is the provider-reported total value of non-canceled linked Housecall Pro jobs. It is not an estimate shown on the form, a collected payment, net revenue, incremental revenue, or profit. Job totals can include taxes or other charges depending on the contractor’s configuration.

Cost per attributed lead is imported ad spend divided by form submissions whose ad IDs match imported ads from the connected account. Overall booked ROAS is the booked job value attributed to those matched ads divided by imported ad spend. Jobs from direct or unmatched sources do not inflate that advertising return. A ratio is not shown when its denominator is zero or the necessary data is unavailable.

Ad spend may differ from the amount ultimately invoiced or paid because of taxes, credits, adjustments, fees, and billing timing. Agency charges, equipment and labor costs, refunds, and other business costs are not deducted from the booked ROAS calculation. Values in different provider currencies are not converted or combined into a return comparison.

Date ranges are lead cohorts

The selected seven- or thirty-day range includes forms submitted in that period, using the connected ad account’s time zone where available. Related job values reflect the latest imported state of those leads’ jobs, even if the job was created or changed later. This is different from a report of payments received, jobs completed, or ad-attributed conversions during the same dates.

Late conversions, job changes, cancellations, corrections, provider revisions, and later imports can change previously displayed results. A period ending yesterday does not make its booked revenue final.

Scheduled imports, not guaranteed real-time data

Housecall Pro work is scheduled approximately every five minutes; Facebook reporting is refreshed approximately hourly. Network failures, expired permissions, provider limits, account volume, and queued work can delay results. A last-sync time reflects processed data and is not a guarantee that every historical record was imported.

Refresh on the report reloads saved results. The connection screen provides a provider sync control; Facebook manual imports have a short throttle. A disconnected or unavailable source may show a dash or a warning. Zero linked jobs means no qualifying linked jobs are known in this report, not that the contractor has no jobs anywhere.

An uncertain lead-delivery response is held for manual review to reduce the risk of duplicate records. Disconnecting an account stops future sync after in-flight requests finish; it does not erase historical records or revoke access in the provider’s own settings.

Reconcile before making financial decisions

Use Ads Manager and provider billing records to verify advertising charges. Use Housecall Pro jobs, invoices, payments, adjustments, and your accounting records to verify work and money collected. Form Champions can help identify discrepancies, but does not replace those source records.

No lead volume, conversion rate, booked revenue, profit, or return is guaranteed. All names and performance figures in the public dashboard preview are fictional examples. Form Champions does not automatically change campaign budgets or bids.
